Bodystatic

The straight walk of the human being is a special challenge for the static of the body. In order to maintain a useful static, a symmetrical allocation of the weight geared to the plumb line is necessary. The plumb line itself is defined as the intersection of two levels dividing the human body into two symmetrical parts (right and left) and two unsymmetrical (front and behind).

Disorders in the movement as well pain in the muscle-skeletal system regularly lead to a change in the static position. The body compensates this by balancing movements. In the moment of pain the stage of compensation is exceeded. A change in the static can already be well recognized when analysing the back-side. The upper part of the body moves to the left and the pelvis to the right. Consequently the spine bends into a s-shape.

Changes in the side-deviation inevitably lead to a rotation, especially in the pelvis. The pelvis being almost in the centre of the human body has to balance static disorders from the top and the bottom. The common distortions of the side of the pelvis with a blockade of the IS-joint are mostly the result of wrong information given by the nerves on the head or the feet. Exact treatment on those points in general loosens the functional blockades in the pelvis. For this reason an effective therapy on the muscle-skeletal system has to start with analysing the static of the body and its posture. Bodystatic
